ContextCommunication is integral in business development. Communication in business may involve the flow of information among executives, employees, business partners or consumers. A business will incorporate technology as it strives to speed up information flow or communication amongst these parties (Schaper et al., 2014). Technology brings forth various communication tools which businesses can ado pt. These include: Visual communication such as PowerPoint or SharePoint, email, the internet amongst others (Schaper et al., 2014).1.2. PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to evaluate the use of technology in business and to outline the methods I employed for the presentation. The paper will evaluate at least two methods of communication I could have employed for my presentation.1.3. BackgroundBusinesses have embraced technology for communicating with target consumers and media. In addition, businesses have incorporated technology and eased communication with its employees, supplies and investors (Gillespie, Boczkowski Foot, 2014). Below is a description of how presentation technology in particular has proved to be useful for business communications. * Product launch- In the past, businesses encountered a lot of difficulties on how to inform its employees, suppliers or consumers about the intentions of coming up with a new product or launching the new product itself (Schaper et al ., 2014). This has become simpler in recent times with business using presentation software such as Prezi, PowerPoint, Flipchart, Animoto amongst others. This has helped businesses to put across their ideas in an effective manner (Schaper et al., 2014). * Product Surveys- Before the advent of technology such as the internet, it was quite engaging to conduct a survey. A lot of businesses would offer incentives to newspapers and magazines to place survey forms for readers to fill and consequently offer incentives to readers who not only filled the surveys but also sent them to the companies (Gillespie, Boczkowski Foot, 2014). Nowadays, companies can conduct surveys over the internet which produces quick feedback and subsequently saves the company money and time (Schaper et al., 2014).1.4. Another feature which makes use of Powtoon appropriate is the animated gifs. Powtoon enables one to incorporate animated gifs which will constantly animate on the slide. Furthermore, Powtoon has dynamic transitions which makes a presentation to flow especially when one wants to show a relationship between two related points CITATION Jil16 \l 1033 (Duffy, 2016).For an individual who is an amateur in terms of creating presentati on, Powtoon is an easy and straightforward tool to use. Compared to tools such as PowerPoint, Powtoon stands out as having simplified timings and animations CITATION Jil16 \l 1033 (Duffy, 2016). The tool has an intuitive interface while creating a slide with animation is a simple task of just placing objects on the screen, shifting the timeline to determine their positions and lastly choosing an entrance and exit effect CITATION Jil16 \l 1033 (Duffy, 2016).
